Tutto Domani, a tiny cafe that can be found near the vicinity of Greenbelt 3, Makati City. Though its hard to look for but surely a great find.
I’ve actually wanted to try this for quite a while but most of the time the place is already closed. Luckily, one late Friday afternoon my friends thought of trying out the place and I got out of work pretty early.Got to the place early and boy would I say, the people there were very accommodating.

The place was actually not your typical kind of cafe. I felt like I stepped in a toy store/dorm room, which was very inviting. Their table and chair arrangements are not the typical kind that you would find in other cafes or restaurants, you can select a chair to sit on haha.

Since, I was there first I decided to get a drink and thought of trying theirCafe Mocha (Php 125)and what I found so cute was the way it was served. Before preparing my order the waiter asked if I had other guest arriving and I said yes. So as soon as my drink arrived, it was served in a wooden board with three small glasses. How adorable, you can have a coffee shot haha! oh and yes, all the items in the store can be bought.
A couple of minutes later, my friends arrived and decided to order.

Ordered a couple more drinks

We ordered one of their sandwiches which was great for sharing and I would absolutely recommend this to everyone, surely a must try! It had slices of crispy bacon, lettuce, oozing with sauce (I think it was cheese?) and the slices of sandwiches with the crust out how amazing is that.

A side view of the sandwich, delish!

Then for our dessert we tried out their Crounds. Our first choice was to try out one of their crepes but we were informed that this was also sort of a crepe kind of dessert, the only difference, it was round, which I guess that’s how it got its name. We tried out their Crounds with peanut butter filling which was drizzled with jam. It surely had the peanut butter taste, that complimented well with the round crepe and jam.

Besides the delicious food, they had such an artistic and interesting interior as well and for toy collectors out their, you can find it here.

Then I finally found what I’ve been looking for and its those mini cooking sort of toy that actually looks so real.

They had the burger and fries cooking collection! I actually got addicted to watching it on youtube on how it is made. Here is a link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujhseHCwWhE Too bad didn’t get to buy because it was a little expensive.

They also have interesting finds, like their Mighty Wallet, that looks exactly like an envelope or a sheet from your notebook but believe it or not, its a wallet and yes it pretty sturdy.
Feeling stressed?! =| try out Paul

It took me a while to figure out how to read time on this googly eyes.

Lastly, glad to check out Tutto Domani with these girlies! =D

First Stop during our trip to Bangkok was at Floating Market. Its pretty far from the main city, so we decided to book a tour through Pick Me Travel. The great thing of booking a tour would be less stress from the travel time and searching for the exact location. Plus, if you book a tour, they would pick you up at your hotel.
So, first thing in the morning, we were picked up at our hotel and other tourists were picked up from their hotels as well. I think the travel time to the Floating Market was around 2 hours or so.

To get to the main market itself, you would get in a boat ride and that itself was an amazing experience. It looked like a small village with boats as their main transportation. The main market itself is packed with tourists and all sorts of vendor selling souvenirs and authentic food.

You have the option to walk around and check out the stalls or take a boat ride and experience a different shopping and food trip adventure. We took the boat ride but it was not part of our package. We each paid 150 baht which was worth it already.

Just be careful with the vendors, they can be a little pushy haha. If you have no plans on buying a certain item or food do not stare that long haha or they would not stop until you buy something. They would actually drag the boat your in and get hold of it till you buy something haha.

I actually stared at one of the market vendors who was selling hats and ended up buying one as souvenir. Unfortunately, I lack Thai history and ended up buying a Vietnamese hat haha. If you do plan on buying something, just make sure you bring in your negotiation powers along!

Then there are also the food vendors which sold all sorts of delicious delicacies. Although, its better to wait and try out food in Bangkok itself, as the prices here are quite steep.

My friends thought of trying out this dish (didn’t get the name) that had bean sprouts, egg and veggies.
Then as for me, I just had to try out their delicious Sticky Rice with Mango slices. It was absolutely delicious and the price was absolutely over the top haha. The normal price was 100 baht and haggled it for 80 baht and to our surprise, in Bangkok it was only worth 20 baht haha (same serving size).

The Floating Market is a great tourist spot. A lot to discover and not your everyday kind of thing, just remember to bring water, wipes and baht!

After a long time of planning got to visit Bangkok with friends and it was one of the most amazing experience. Got a lot to share and the first thing I’d like to share is where we got to stay during our trip.
Our main goal was to tour around Bangkok so we didn’t need to book a luxurious or expensive hotel. Instead we decided to look for those dorm type of places. There are a lot of dorms or hostels as they call it, around Bangkok and its usually packed with tourists, mostly backpackers.

Our choice was at Take A Nap.

They have common rooms as well as private rooms. We opted to go with the private rooms so we can have our own bathroom. =D
My friends and I actually arrived at Bangkok at 12mn and arrived at Take a Nap around 1am. The lobby area of the hostel is pretty small but has mostly what you need like a place to sit for a while, drinks (although, i’d rather buy outside because its quite expensive), internet access and computer stations and all that.

Our rooms were located at the 4th floor, oh and yes beware of the elevator, its like being in one of those horror movies haha. As soon as the elevator doors open, the lights inside would flicker and only 3 people at a time are allowed inside but somehow we managed all 6 of us to fit inside haha.

We booked 2 rooms, the big room which is called “In The Pink” can accommodate 4 people but can actually fit more than that but they would not allow it.

Inside the room had 3 beds. One huge bed that can actually accommodate 3 or 4 people (it was that big, or I was simply small haha). Then right next to the big bed are two queen size beds.

The other room that was occupied by my other friends was called “Pop Art” which accommodates a maximum of 2 people.

The rooms had its own television sets unfortunately, you’d only get around 3 to 4 channels but we didn’t mind because were out most of the time.
We had free Continental breakfast every morning but don’t expect much. Breakfast would be ready by 7 and what’s usually served is bread, sausages, cereals, eggs and fruits and you can help yourself to as much as you want, so make the most of it especially if you have a long day of touring the town :).

The staff at Take a Nap are very friendly and very hospitable. They took the time to show us how to go to various locations the best way possible.

They also provide other services such as day tours or taxi services for everyones convenience.

Surely, a lot of people have the same dilemma as we did during our stay and that is having to book half a day at the hostel because flight schedules would be at night. They offered us to leave our baggage inside their storage rooms(just be cautious as other guests leave their stuff as well, so better lock your bags for safety) and use the common bathrooms to freshen up.
We decided to book half a day because we bought a lot of stuff that needs to be packed. So, its actually your choice, they’d still make sure that your stay in Bangkok is worth it.
In addition, the hostel is just close by Pat Pong, the famous night clubs and bars and yes it was my first time to actually come across a street filled with bars and not just ordinary bars, it was called Boys Town. So, it was quite difficult to distinguish if the customers that they are looking for are females or males! haha. Beware! there would be some offering you to watch the so called Ping Pong Show. A lot of tourists have bad experiences with this, mostly being charged a lot of cash.
There are also night markets for that last minute souvenir shopping.
So next time if you plan to go on a trip to Bangkok why not try book a room at Take a Nap!

Fan of K-pop or anything Korean? Well there’s a great cafe at Ortigas called Subspace.

I’m not a fan but I found this little cafe really amazing. They offered quite unique drinks and even have cute stuff on sale.
Met up with a couple of friends and they all wanted to try out the place, since most of them were K-pop fans.

FOOD & DRINK
Tried out their Purple Potato Latte (hot and cold). Never thought Ube can become a drink haha. At first it tasted weird or I’m just not used to having an Ube flavored drink.

Also, tried their Peanut Butter Latte. Might have liked it better with caramel, it was a little plain for my taste.

Cinnamon Donut

The best part of the visit was meeting our friend who designs shirts and surprised us with personalized gifts! =D Visit his site on facebook - Monsterpiece
I love his cute designs, especially on the paperbags!

Happy New Year!!
My very first post for the year 2012 and the very first picture I took! For a change, we flew lanterns instead of the usual firecrackers and it was really wonderful to watch it flow up in the sky =D
Wishing everyone a great year ahead! =D

My friends would always mention that I should try out Ace Water Spa and I would always think that its the normal spa that I’ve already tried and was thinking what made it different.
Then when I checked out their site, the place seemed like a resort of some sort as it had different types of pools. So then, one Saturday afternoon boyfriend along with two other friends of ours tried out the Ace Water Spa, the one located at Pioneer. I did not know what to bring but according to my friend, everything that I will be needing is provided at Ace Water Spa.

Well, if you don’t mind spending a lot then you don’t need to bring anything because you can rent swim suits and towels but you can bring your own, which is better, as you can save money and its more hygienic. Good thing we had a coupon each, so we each just had to pay Php275 for the entrance.
As soon as we settled the bill,we were directed upstairs to the locker areas. At the locker areas they would provide the swimsuits and towels if you rented any.

I was not able to take pictures inside the pool area because cameras are not allowed. The place had one big Olympic size pool, then next to it is their Hydrotherapy pools, which means it had different massage contraptions in the pool. They also had herbal pools that had different temperatures in it, which was really calming and after having a long, nice dip in the herbal pools, you’d dip yourself in one of the ice cold pools.

After a long 4 hour stay at the pools, you can enjoy a nice meal at the ACE Coffee Lounge where they offer buffet at a certain price and since we were little low on budget decided to eat somewhere else haha.

All in all, it was a great experience and very relaxing, a great way to be stress free.

Last Friday, I watched Horrible Bosses with a couple of friends at Glorietta 4.
Horrible Bosses is another must watch comedy movie which reminded me of my past bosses haha and how thankful I am that they are not that crazy at all.

The movie had a lot of funny and unexpected moments which we all enjoyed watching.

Ever since I was a kid, I loved to collect Archie comics and a few months back, I found an app in my itouch where you can download Archie comics, which brought quite a few memories. I even thought of searching the very first Archie comics hahaha.
Then today, after work I was roaming around National Book Store and I found Archie Comics that contains some of the first ever published Archie Comics to some of the latest.
Archie and the gang looked so different before haha and I can’t believe Archie Comics started almost 70 years ago.

One of the latest that I’ve read, is the marriage proposal of Archie to Betty.

I got this for Php399, not bad! ok time to read <3

Weekend sale at Megatent, an event held by Port88!

As always shopping is a must especially when there is a big sale and great and unique finds. Boyfriend and I decided to check out the bazaar at the Megatent and there were a lot of great stuff and we did splurge a little.
First on our list, was a Spider Podium, which is a cute stand for your phone and immediately boyfriend bought it for P550 at Monkee Business.

My little brother just wanted to get a picture holding the stand hahaha.

Then my next find, was a keychain/hook. This was an interesting find and is perfect for me because I tend to take a long time searching for my keys inside my bag. With the help of the hook, I can simply hook it on my bag. I bought this for Php150.

Of course! I just had to get not one but two pairs of shoes. It’s “grab the opportunity” moment for me because I finally found a wedge that fits me perfectly!

Unfortunately, I only found one in my size and at So Fab they had a Buy 1 take 1 promo, so for my second pair, got a pair of cute flats.

I also got a couple of post it’s, yay! and a couple of tops as well =D.
